Having learned wheel throwing from a master potter in Thailand, I have now brought my craft to the UK! I have a full size wheel and a set of 4 mini wheels available for classes.
The beauty of the mini wheel is that it’s portable – sessions can be run in village halls, businesses or even in your own home.

Price are per wheel and include firing and glazing. Pieces are usually ready for collection in about 2 weeks.
Beginners will learn how to wedge clay, and then centre and throw cylinders and bowls on the wheel. For those with prior experience, let me know what you'd like to work on and I can tailor the session to that.
We will learn how to centre and throw on the mini wheel, as well as looking at the use of tools and mini ribs. Sessions are currently limited to 4 wheels, although if you'd like a group session with people sharing the wheels, that's completely fine!
